Cupping Therapy
Cupping massage is applied to muscles, joints, and as acupressure. Different-sized silicone cups are used for this purpose.
The massaging effect is achieved through the vacuum created by the cup. This allows for more intensive treatment of the tissues, improving the body's lymphatic and blood circulation, as well as metabolic processes.
The vacuum reduces muscle tension, tightens the skin, and cleanses pores. Cupping massage is also effective in treating cellulite.
NB! Be aware that cupping therapy can be a little painful (usually on arms and legs) for the first couple of times, depending on the condition of the body.
How the massage is carried out:
Cupping therapy is combined with regular massage, using massage cream. Where there is dead, static blood and toxins present in the body, cupping can leave marks wich indicates that the stagnation or disease has been moved from the deep tissue layers to the surface. The color of the marks depend on the level of stagnation in the area, and range from abright red to dark purple, usually lasting 3 days to a week.
